SZA, formerly signed to Lamar’s Top Dawg Entertainment, boasts a history of successful collaborations with the rapper, including the Oscar-nominated “All the Stars” and “Doves in the Wind.” They recently reunited on Lamar’s GNX album, with SZA featuring on tracks like “Gloria” and “Luther,” which sample Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn’s “If This World Were Mine.”

The halftime show promises a unique blend of their artistic styles, with creative direction from Lamar and Dave Free’s pgLang. Roc Nation and Emmy-winning producer Jesse Collins will co-executive produce the event.

Both artists enter this major performance at the peak of their careers. SZA has earned two Grammy nominations this year for her hit “Saturn” (Best R&B Song and R&B Performance), while Lamar leads the pack with seven nominations, including nods for “Like That” (with Future and Metro Boomin) and “Not Like Us,” which is vying for Song and Record of the Year.
